In this chapter, oven test has been provided. Gas leakage and its flow have been discussed. Detector response has been provided in a very lucid fashion to acquaint the students how to perform these tests. Injection volume, injector temperature, carryover effect, and split volume have been discussed in this chapter. Certified reference material (CRM) and their dilution have been discussed in this chapter for checking detectors functioning.
