European Security in the Danger Zone: Greece’s Strategic Role
摘要
This chapter examines how Greece and the EU are experiencing a period of global strategic fragility. Greece has become a vocal proponent of European strategic autonomy, reaffirming its position on the side of a ‘shaking’ transatlantic alliance. With a ‘yellow’ level of threat perception, shaped by tensions with Turkey and instability across Europe’s neighbourhood, Athens calls for decisive EU action to strengthen collective defence, thereby complementing NATO’s presence.
