CCCs are supported by Education Committees designed to develop comprehensive curricula to facilitate trainee knowledge and skill attainment, as well as by Remediation Committees to assist with structured and individualized performance improvement when deficiencies are identified. These units work cohesively together to ensure that trainees are provided with the resources and guidance needed to be successful in training and ultimately feel prepared for independent practice and delivery of excellent patient care.
