ResurrectAI introduces a persona-driven paradigm for conversational AI, enabling interactions with virtual personas of historical figures such as Mahatma Gandhi. By leveraging fine-tuned LLaMA-based architectures, ResurrectAI captures the distinctive philosophy, conversational style, and values of each persona, offering a more engaging and relatable user experience. Performance evaluation against leading AI models like ChatGPT, Qwen 2.5, and Claude revealed ResurrectAI’s superiority in key metrics such as emotional intelligence, consistency and contextual awareness, as quantified by the PULSE score (Personality Understanding and Linguistic Similarity Evaluation). ResurrectAI achieved the highest PULSE score of 1.39, surpassing ChatGPT (0.94), Qwen 2.5 (0.49), and Claude (1.00), reflecting its ability to deliver thoughtful, personality-driven responses. Despite challenges in processing speed and adapting to informal language, ResurrectAI demonstrated its potential to enhance emotional engagement and user relatability. These findings position persona-driven AI as a transformative approach with applications in education, mental health, and personalized digital assistance.
