Key Values in Current Imaging and Testing Technology
摘要
This chapter provides a comprehensive overview of essential measurement values used across a wide range of ophthalmic imaging and diagnostic technologies. It includes detailed discussions of ultrasound modalities such as A-scan, B-scan, and ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM), as well as advanced optical coherence tomography (OCT) and OCT angiography (OCTA). Electrophysiologic tests—including electroretinography (ERG), visual evoked potentials (VEPs), and electrooculography (EOG)—are also covered, alongside visual field assessments. Critical metrics such as axial length, retinal layer thickness, vascular density, and visual sensitivity are presented with normative ranges to aid in the interpretation of both structural and functional ocular changes. These standardized benchmarks serve as a vital foundation in ophthalmic care.
