Stop Making Idiots Rich
摘要
Engineers carry most of the risks that keep companies alive while absorbing the physical, mental and personal costs of designing and building things that work. However, the spotlight and the rewards tend to flow elsewhere, keeping the engineers fighting for a decent salary and better work conditions. This short chapter dives into the twisted dynamics between those who create real economic value and those who enjoy it, and how pride, discipline, and a sense of craft keep engineers returning to their desks every day to do their work despite everything. Far from a call to rebellion, this chapter intends to act as a friendly reminder: choose carefully who you want to make rich.
