An Online Dialogue Simulation: The FLORA Application as a Social Influence Tool to Counteract Misinformation and Promote Public Health
摘要
Growing vaccine hesitancy is a major public health concern. To address this, we developed the FLORA app—a conversational agent that engages users in discussions about vaccinations. Our study found that participants who interacted with FLORA and were prompted to consider vaccination at the end of the dialogue showed a greater intention to get vaccinated. These findings suggest that online conversations can be an effective way to promote positive attitudes toward vaccines.
