Women Entrepreneurs and Their Environment: Evidence from an Empirical Study in Morocco
摘要
Female entrepreneurship plays a pivotal role in driving both national and international economic dynamism, potentially serving as a catalyst for growth and resilience, particularly in times of crisis. However, in Morocco, the scarcity of in-depth theoretical frameworks on this subject makes it difficult to understand the environment in which these women operate, thereby compromising the effectiveness of support measures designed for them. The central research question addressed in this study is: How do Moroccan women entrepreneurs interact with their environment, and how do they evolve within it? This paper proposes an approach to explore and analyze this relationship by identifying its key variables and testing hypotheses regarding their potential interactions. It also presents the results of an empirical study conducted with 200 Moroccan women entrepreneurs, focusing specifically on the indicator “Relationship of women entrepreneurs with their environment.”
