Architech AI is a generative AI tool that aims to help bring the wonders of AI-generated floor plans to the masses. The system uses various model development techniques, as well as fine-tuning approaches, mainly UNet architecture, diffusion models such as Stable Diffusion 1.5 and 2.1, and Low Rank Adaptation (LoRA). The system is coded entirely in Python, using deep learning frameworks like PyTorch, on collaborative coding platforms such as Google Colab and Kaggle Notebooks, leveraging their functionality of providing GPUs on a runtime basis. Industry standards were followed during the development of the project, such as data preparation, model selection, and iterative fine-tuning. The project also implemented continuous testing and feedback on generated images to ensure the best outcome of the development process. We present Architech AI, a tool that simplifies, accelerates, and optimises the floor plan development phase for both the consumers and professionals of the field.
