The Future According to Village Saying
摘要
This chapter explores how our worldview is shaped by our education and environment. From birth, we internalize the norms and values passed on to us by our parents and teachers. This makes it difficult to imagine that reality could be different from what we know. Even when we challenge certain injustices, our rebellion is based on other principles we have learned. Thus, any reaction to abnormality or injustice is based on inherited reference points. To break free from this, it is necessary to develop independent thinking. However, this individual reflection is still rooted in commonly accepted ideas. This chapter highlights the power of habit and tradition in shaping our view of the world. Novelty and change are possible, but always influenced by the past. Finally, it invites us to question what we take for granted in order to broaden our understanding of reality.
