Before recently, terrorism and people trafficking were thought to be two independent criminal categories with unique characteristics. However, a small number of scholars began to notice the parallels between these two crimes. This chapter encapsulates the main ideas of the book and examines the various ways in which human trafficking and terrorism are related, which is a novel approach for the area. The intersection between human trafficking and terrorism on different dimensions was discussed extensively in this chapter. Additionally, efforts are being made to investigate the extent of terrorism and people trafficking in the field of forensic victimology, which is once more a novel area of study. Its effects on the criminal justice system were discussed. In the criminal justice system, especially in restorative justice, there are few empirical studies on the effectiveness of strategies, laws, and preventative methods related to human trafficking and terrorism; the same applies to the victims of these crimes. Future research should focus on this area.

摘要
