The Role of the Ukrayina.Pl Portal in Sustaining the National Identity of the Ukrainian Minority in Poland in Times of Disinformation Threats
摘要
Following the outbreak of the Russian war against Ukraine, a large number of war refugees arrived in Europe and, above all, in Poland. They were mainly elderly people, women and children. These people were cut off from their country, their culture, from their loved ones, but above all from reliable information about what was happening in their country. That is why one of the first, innovative actions was the creation of a Ukrainian portal in Poland by Ukrainians. The article, which is based on an analysis of media content and an interview with the director of the portal, explains the purpose of the creation of the Ukrayina.pl portal, its content and difficulties encountered during its development. The article shows how the differences between globalisation and internationalisation are blurring, as the common denominator is becoming interdependence and cooperation.
