Considering Process Acceptance in the Context of the Digital Transformation of the Consulting Industry
摘要
To achieve sustainable success in the implementation of a digital transformation of the consulting industry, it is essential that the processes are executed accordingly. The acceptance of these processes is a crucial factor in this regard. To prevent process deviations or manipulations, it is necessary to identify and analyze the factors that influence process acceptance. To this end, a series of experimental studies were conducted on the factors “process length,” “task heterogeneity,” “self-healing,” “time and resource constraints,” “process feedback,” and “bureaucracy,” using a standard purchasing process as the basis for the process. The acquisition of data was facilitated by Amazon’s crowdsourcing platform Mechanical Turk. The findings of these studies contribute to the identification of optimization potential and improvement measures.
