This book developed a coherent path from single-rate DSP to multirate systems and modern learning-based approaches, with an emphasis on polyphase representations, critically sampled filter banks, low-delay architectures, and optimization. Along the way we provided Python reference code and reproducible experiments that bridge theory and practice.
