The increasing number of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications has sparked interest in the potential pedagogical uses of Generative AI (GenAI) technologies and Large Linguistic Models (LLM) based chatbots. The use of AI tools in education offers promising opportunities to enhance teaching–learning strategies and can support personalized learning by adapting to students’ needs, offering tailored explanations, and providing immediate feedback. However, many teachers are inexperienced with AI and face significant obstacles to integrating into their educational practice. This chapter provides detailed guidance for educators, facilitating the use of GenAI for the creation of lesson plans and evaluation tools. Furthermore, it explains how LLM based chatbots can be used by students to personalize their learning process for the mathematics subject in primary education, ensuring ethical use and privacy of children’s data.

摘要
