Revision and Review
摘要
This chapter introduces a series of AI-assisted exercises to help writers distinguish between higher-order and lower-order concerns, assess document cohesionCohesion, and revise accordingly. By combining the affordances of AI with well-established coherence review techniques like reverse outlining, cutting and rearranging, highlighter approaches, and diagnosis/analysis/revision, authors will see whether their evolved, edited writing still aligns with their original purpose and audiences. The chapter also shows how AI might simulate peer review feedback for authors and, in addition, help these authors craft clear, supportive peer review feedback for others. Finally, it concludes with techniques for using AI to generate front and back matterBack Matter (abstracts, bios, and indexes), extending the writing process into key paratextual materials.
