This work aims to present the design of a compact bandpass meander filter that operates at 4.9 GHz. Indeed, the conventional meander line is developed and fed through innovative-coupled meander feedlines to get a miniature structure. The bandpass filter was analyzed and optimized using both Advanced Design System (ADS) and CST Microwave Studio software. Consequently, the bandpass filter has a low insertion loss of 0.8 dB and excellent return loss, exceeding 36 dB all over the bandwidth of 4.7 to 5.13 GHz. Plus, the proposed bandpass filter is compact, as it occupies only 10 × 9.5 mm2. These features make the filter in question a high candidate for the intended application.
