Why Critical Thinking, Intelligence, and Creativity Often Prove Futile in Resolving So Many Real-World Debates
摘要
Transformational wisdom is the application of knowledge, abilities, and attitudes to attain a common good that makes a positive, meaningful, paradigm-defying, and even possibly enduring transformative difference to the world, or at least much of the world. Transformational wisdom is exhibited on a world canvas, not just a local one, and affects a wide range of people. It contrasts with intelligence, critical thinking, creativity, practical intelligence, and even conventional wisdom in its application to contemporary world problems. This chapter discusses what transformational wisdom is, including its elements, and why it is so difficult both to find and to teach for.
