Electric Road Systems (ERS) can be described as a paradigm shift in the electrification of transportation, whereby it does not follow the conventional model of static charging, but allows mobile, in-motion provision of energy. The urban application of ERS is not a new technology but a planned infrastructure that is meant to serve a large number of urban vehicles in total, which includes a fleet of public transportation, electric buses, as well as services needed by the city, such as garbage trucks and delivery vans, and finally, it is a fleet of individual passenger vehicles.

摘要

Electric Road Systems (ERS) can be described as a paradigm shift in the electrification of transportation, whereby it does not follow the conventional model of static charging, but allows mobile, in-motion provision of energy. The urban application of ERS is not a new technology but a planned infrastructure that is meant to serve a large number of urban vehicles in total, which includes a fleet of public transportation, electric buses, as well as services needed by the city, such as garbage trucks and delivery vans, and finally, it is a fleet of individual passenger vehicles.
