This chapter provides a comprehensive assessment of the current status, challenges, and opportunities for transport electrification in Mexico. It presents an analysis of the electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, energy sources, and regulatory landscape, with a focus on the technical, economic, and institutional barriers limiting large-scale EV deployment.
