Application of Digital Technologies in Azerbaijan’s Agriculture and Prospects of its Impact on Sustainable Development

This allows farmers to optimize resource usage, reduce waste, and increase yields while minimizing environmental impact. Additionally, blockchain technology is being explored to enhance supply chain transparency, ensuring food safety and traceability. Artificial intelligence (AI) and big data analytics further contribute to predictive modeling, helping farmers make informed decisions regarding irrigation, pest control, and harvesting. These innovations not only improve efficiency but also support sustainable practices by reducing water consumption, chemical inputs, and greenhouse gas emissions.
