It should be noted that one of the main directions of economic development today is ensuring the establishment of a stable relationship between scientific and technical progress and the national economy. This factor has been analyzed by a number of scientists both with theoretical considerations and mathematical-cybernetic models. Today, one of the economic successes of the developed countries of the world is the preventive application of new technologies shaped by this technological progress to the national economy. One of these theories is the long-wave theory. In this theory, the analysis of the beginning, development, and end directions of technological progress can play an important role in the long-term strategic planning of national economies of countries. The study is focused on the importance of analyzing long waves within the framework of maintaining macroeconomic sustainability. The authors based this work on qualitative research. The results of the study may help enrich the theoretical part for other work to be conducted in this direction.
