In the digital age, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the political landscape, influencing not only democratic processes but also the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The use of AI in political communication has the potential to strengthen governance, enhance public participation, and combat disinformation—crucial factors for the full success of the UN’s 2030 Agenda. Nevertheless, the adoption of such technologies raises critical questions about transparency, information manipulation, and the risk of amplifying digital inequalities. AI can play a key role in fostering an informed and accessible public debate by facilitating the dissemination of reliable information on the SDGs through chatbots, predictive algorithms, and content personalization. On the other hand, political micro-targeting and the use of deepfakes pose significant challenges to the credibility of sources and the construction of consensus on sustainable policies. This contribution examines the role of AI-mediated political communication in raising awareness of the SDGs, with a particular focus on its ability to mobilize stakeholders and citizens. Through a critical analysis of case studies and theoretical approaches, the aim is to understand how AI can be leveraged to improve dialogue on sustainable development issues without compromising information quality and public trust in democratic institutions.

摘要
