This chapter examines the issue of the environmental impact of air transport. It specifically examines the measures adopted at the international level by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), together with other European Union regulations, especially those relating to the so-called Single European Sky, which aim to contribute to achieving climate neutrality in the aviation sector.
