In this chapter, we aim to highlight the contributions of women from different generations to the development of neuroradiology in Europe. These contributions extend not only to advancing the specialty itself but also to shaping its teaching and research. The text illustrates how, in the early days, very few women were part of decision-making groups. However, this has gradually begun to change, with more women taking on leadership roles in recent years. It is important to note that this chapter is not exhaustive, as some European countries are not represented. This gap may be due to various factors, such as limited historical records, the modesty of the women involved, or other circumstances. We hope that future editions will allow us to include insights from these countries, providing a more comprehensive perspective. We trust that this chapter will be both engaging and informative, offering readers valuable and relevant insights into this important topic.

摘要
