This historical overview traces the development of the Israeli Society for Neuroradiology (ISNR) from the 1990s to today. Initially, neuroradiological practice in Israel relied on CT, fluoroscopy, and diagnostic angiography due to limited MRI access. The ISNR was formed as a subgroup within the Israeli Radiological Association, with Dr. Dorith Goldsher as its first chairperson. As MRI availability increased and more radiologists trained abroad, the field expanded. Society activities grew to include regular meetings and international collaborations. A major milestone was the establishment of a formal fellowship program in the 2010s, led by Prof. Chen Hofman and Prof. Jaacob Sosna with Ministry of Health support. Under leaders including Prof. Ilan Shelef and current chair Dr. Ayelet Eran, the society adapted through the COVID-19 pandemic with ongoing virtual meetings. Today, ISNR members are active participants in the global neuroradiology community.

摘要
