Today, under the influence of the development of computer and information technologies, a particular approach to concepts such as ’virtuality’ and ’virtual reality’ is emerging. Laboratory experiences are critical to the learning process across all domains of engineering, due to the fact that information technology has changed the educational laboratory landscape. Modern technology provides the possibility to dive into the virtual world, in which things and events cannot be distinguished from reality. This project is a virtual reality educational experience developed with Unity, designed to teach users the concepts of computer networks in an interactive and immersive way. The simulation places users in a virtual network lab, where they can interact with various network equipment, including PCs, switches, and routers.
