Working with Objects With or Without a Sand Tray
摘要
This chapter begins by exploring how using objects, with or without a sand tray, can help clients explore past, present, and future issues and their inner-world experiences that cause distress. This section then discusses the advantages of the symbolic process and how touch can help a client access unexpressed emotions and deep-rooted painful experiences that need to be processed for healing to occur. Case studies are explored, focusing on how to use objects and sand-trays to address various client issues from a pluralistic stance. Next, specific advantages of this intervention are considered.
