This chapter of the book examines the main challenges of green public procurement in Lithuania. The institutional and legal arrangements of green public procurement regulating such practices in Lithuania have been analysed. A mixed methodology was used to achieve the research objective. Articles and legal documents of Lithuanian researchers were studied, and four interviews were conducted with public and private procurement professionals. It becomes clear that in Lithuania there are difficulties in applying environmental criteria for green public procurement. However, there is awareness of the benefits of green procurement in promoting corporate governance and social responsibility.
