This chapter describes the major concepts related to nanoscience and nanotechnology, role of green nanotechnology as an essential part of a sustainable future of agriculture, and its applicability for the development of innovative solutions to challenging issues. From this, the understanding and use of more efficient and sustainable agrochemicals based on green nanotechnology processes are the major focus of this chapter and one example of a green nanotechnology process to protect postharvested fruits is presented as a case study.

摘要
