This chapter presents and discusses the green chemistry principles, highlighting their application in agrochemistry. From this, the understanding of methods and practices to change conventional agrochemistry. Technological aspects, such as intelligent pesticides, plant-secondary metabolite uses, and greening of pesticide–environment interactions, are discussed. And as a case study, the application of kraft lignin in controlled release formulation for pest management is explored in order to prove the feasibility of green chemistry to achieve sustainable agrochemicals.
