At the ICQIS 2024, we explored the characteristics of quality thinking in 2035, envisioning it as the successor of the current level of quality thinking; we call it Quality 5.0. In a workshop based on Lego® Serious Play®, the participants were asked to build their solutions in five steps, with the last step being to build and explain the characteristics of Quality 5.0. They produced three thematic characteristics: innovative quality management business practices, a human-centric approach to quality management, and sustainability. These results are compared to previous results from a similar study.
