The aim of this chaper is to analyze the impact of digitalization on the psychological and emotional well-being of sales department employees in Poland’s banking sector between 2020 and 2024. In particular, the focus is placed on the phenomenon of technostress—a form of psychological strain resulting from excessive exposure to digital technologies, the persistent need for adaptation, and insufficient technological competencies. The chapter elucidates the mechanisms underpinning the emergence of technostress and demonstrates how digital inclusivity and proactive attitudes may provide protective functions against its adverse outcomes. The analysis revealed that Poland’s banking sector, as a leader in the implementation of advanced technologies, constitutes a highly stress-inducing environment, especially for frontline and middle management staff. Concurrently, the study highlights the importance of inclusive leadership, policies supporting digital diversity, and organizational cultures conducive to developing digital competencies as essential factors mitigating the stress-related effects of digitalization. The chapter also proposes a framework for managing technological diversity, built upon the principles of trust, flexibility, and shared responsibility. The conclusions drawn herein may inform the design of HR strategies in the banking industry and the implementation of well-being policies aimed at counteracting digital overload and occupational burnout in the context of technological transformation.

摘要
