Digital Well-Being in ICT Workplaces
摘要
This chapter explores digital well-being as a resource that supports managerial job performance in ICT-intensive workplaces. Grounded in the Job Demands–Resources (JD–R) model, it examines whether digital well-being enhances performance and whether this relationship is moderated by gender or professional seniority. Based on survey data from 350 Polish managers, the study shows that digital well-being is a significant predictor of job performance, with a stronger effect among less experienced managers. Gender did not moderate the relationship. The findings highlight the importance of fostering digital well-being through organizational support, boundary management, and digital competence development. Promoting digital well-being can strengthen resilience and effectiveness in increasingly digitalized work environments.
