Introduction
摘要
How does Algeria react to geopolitical changes and new situations, and how does it implement its tradition of engagement and implication in world affairs? How is Algeria acting internationally to be considered as still one of the leading voices of the “Global South”, the large group of developing and emergent countries? Our main assumption is that Algeria, a country that was one of the leaders of the Third World during the Cold War and a partner of the West during the global war on terror, had to adapt to the new international order of the twenty-first century, with an ambition of remaining one of the “voices of the Global South”, to be reckoned with by the main actors of the world order.
