Agile Transformation in Hardware Product Development - A Comparative Case Study

Organizations increasingly adopt agile project management in hardware development to enhance flexibility and innovation, yet transitioning from traditional methods poses challenges like resistance, inadequate training, and resource constraints. This study examines two companies’ eight-year transformations, emphasizing the role of change management in addressing these barriers. Key strategies include leadership commitment, tailored training, cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration. While limited by sample size, the findings provide actionable insights for aligning agile practices with strategic goals and driving sustainable success in dynamic industries.
