This article aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis to study scientific production related to stakeholder theory, quantifying articles published per year, source titles, citations, journal impact, and identifying publications by author, affiliation, country, subject, and type. Additionally, using the VOSviewer software, maps were generated to analyze co-authorship between authors and countries, as well as keyword occurrences. Regarding the research methodology, the investigation criteria were first established using the keywords “stakeholder theory” and “teoria dos stakeholders,” followed by the application of certain filters to the results obtained. The main conclusions of this study highlighted that 2024 was the year with the highest scientific research output and the greatest number of citations. The Journal of Business Research stood out as the most prominent publication. The analysis also identified co-authorship relationships among authors. Finally, concerning the documents published by countries, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia emerged as the leading contributors, in descending order.
