The Puzzle of Kinaesthesis
摘要
Kinaesthetic research is just beginning to open up a new field of problems. Not surprisingly, many scholars have attempted to revisit Husserl’s research on kinaesthesis, since there is no doubt about its centrality. And yet, compared to other topics of contemporary phenomenology, such as the body, kinaesthetic investigations are very sparse. For example, Husserl’s hesitation as to whether kinaestheses belong only to the bodily or also to the mental realm has not yet been adequately addressed. It seems that there is sufficient reason to think in both directions. It is precisely for this reason that Husserl changed his mind several times.
