The paper discusses the new version of the FEM viewer, which gives business experts the possibility to change the package of models created by a modeling expert(s). The paper concerns a special kind of models, so-called Fractal Enterprise Models (FEM); however, the functionality given to business experts can be reproduced for other modeling languages/techniques. The new version of FEM viewer, which runs on the web and does not require any installation on the experts’ computers, allows them to assign characteristics to elements of models by using background colors and border colors. What each color represents is agreed upon between modeling experts and business experts; the meaning of the colors is fixed by creating special sheets that explain the meaning of each color. The authors consider that this functionality could be used by business experts, even those who are not acquainted with enterprise modeling. The only requirement is that they understand the models created for their own business by a modeling expert(s).
