Public spaces play a key role in sustainable urban development and in enhancing the quality of life of communities. However, in many cases, such spaces have not yet been designed due to financial constraints and delays in implementation planning. The advancement of digital technologies has led to an increasing focus on quality monitoring in design and implementation, necessitating the use of new tools and methodologies to manage the large volume of information and data that emerge during the building process. This research explores the development of a Digital Technical Protocol to optimise the design of urban neighbourhood standards in the Mediterranean area. Starting from the research questions, through a literature scoping review, the study analyses the integration of digital technologies in the urban design process. The proposed protocol aims to transform urban standards from legislative obligations into poles of urban quality by integrating Energy Communities and green infrastructure. Despite the challenges related to training and data management, the proposed holistic approach ensures that planners retain effective control of the process, making the most of the potential offered by digitisation.

摘要
