The prevailing insecurity in present-day Mexico is a product of a multitude of factors, religion being one of the key ones. Ironic as it may seem, religion in Mexico contributes towards to two diametrically opposite human conditions. While it fuels the ongoing everyday violence, it also provides critical solace to those affected by the prevalent insecurity.
