Malaysian Government's Intervention in Prospering People's Lives During Pandemic Covid-19

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused a disruption in most human activities on a large and rapid scale. The effects of the epidemic not only claimed lives, but also had an impact on economic growth, food supply crisis and loss of jobs. The experience of the spread of the virus and the large number of infected people has taught and forced people to live their lives with new normal of life. This is a qualitative study using the method of analysing documents, journals, and related articles. Both primary and secondary data are used, collected through the library-based approach, books, legal documents, and articles from journals and online resources. The data are examined and interpreted using the content analysis approach. This paper discussing on the interventions that have been implemented by the government, especially to reduce the risks and constraints of the people due to the pandemic. The findings found that the Malaysian government had intervened urgently during the pandemic to improve the lives of many people who had been affected and faced the impact of Covid-19. The interventions by the governments helped the people to continue their lives as usual. It helped to facilitate economic growth and family institutions which could minimise the problems and prospering people’s lives throughout pandemic.
