It manufactures over 60 million cars a year, which accounts for about half of the oil consumed worldwide. The automotive industry contributes around 3% of the world’s total GDP output. In 2022, 85.4 million motor vehicles were produced around the world, an increase of 5.7% compared to 2021. Globally, passenger cars were responsible for over three billion metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions in 2020. Over the past 20 years, the number of emissions produced by passenger cars has increased gradually, reaching a peak of 3.2 million metric tons in 2000 from 2.2 billion metric tons in 2000. An Eco innovation life cycle assessment method helps producers assess and minimize a product’s overall environmental impact. In order to achieve the lowest possible total greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for these Mobility as a Service (MaaS) vehicle ideas. Design engineers should actively incorporate six main areas when adopting LCA approach to vehicle development. The research paper explores the imperative need to mitigate environmental impacts arising from the waste of automobile industry. The study promotes Eco-innovative intelligent manufacturing and process optimization techniques to minimize the traditional wastages from the automotive industry. Circular economy metrics emphasize a restricted application of renewable energy in both internal combustion engine vehicles and electric vehicles (EVs).
