This chapter introduces the research questions informing this book, arising out of the work of Worcester Polytechnic Institute researchers who are part of the Caribbean Collaborative Action Network, a NOAA Climate Adaptation Partnership team. After discussing the key questions framing this collection, we reflect on the power dynamics of our research in the US Caribbean context of Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands in relation to climate mobilities (as well as immobilities and dwelling). An overview of the chapters follows, each of which exemplifies a specific university-community-research partnership for the co-production of knowledge and climate action.

摘要
