The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) with laser technologies is reshaping the field of laser dermatology. This chapter examines how AI augments laser-based procedures across the full continuum of dermatologic care: from imaging-based diagnosis and lesion grading to individualized treatment planning, intra-procedural adaptation, and long-term monitoring. AI-enabled laser systems support dynamic decision-making in diverse contexts, enhancing safety, efficacy, and personalization. Key innovations, such as AI-assisted selective photothermolysis, fractional photothermolysis, and focal point technology, embedded imaging, and autonomous energy modulation, are driving the evolution of laser platforms into intelligent, closed-loop systems. The chapter also addresses regulatory concerns, including algorithmic transparency, and clinical responsibility. Ultimately, the synergy between AI and laser dermatology expertise paves the way for more precise, personalized, and equitable care across the spectrum of laser-based dermatologic interventions.
