This chapter will present the ten interviews from the centenarians. The ten interviews were conducted face-to-face and involved the participant and his or her family member or caretaker. The MMSE was administered for those who were able to participate. The first three interviews are presented in greater detail to allow the reader to appreciate the complexity of the lives of these centenarians. The remainder are presented in less detail from the original interviews although the originals can be made available upon request. Note that there are three Ms, which will be referred to in the interviews as M+, M, and MT.
