The Impact of Business Intelligence on Organizational Efficiency at Jordanian Commercial Banks: The Moderating Role of Functional Competencies

This research aims to determine the impact of business intelligence on organizational prowess i0n Jordanian commercial banks and the use of functional competencies as a modified variable for this effect, and the sample size reached (377) single, where they were selected in a stratified proportional way, and a questionnaire was designed directed to the vocabulary of the research sample, and the response rate was (97.87%). The results showed a statistically significant impact of business intelligence in its dimensions on organizational prowess in its dimensions in Jordanian commercial banks, as the application of business intelligence systems in these banks contributes significantly to improving organizational performance, by enhancing their ability to collect and analyze data accurately, which helps them to make informed strategic decisions, and the results also showed a statistically significant impact of the relationship between business intelligence and organizational prowess through the modified role of job competencies. The researchers recommended enhancing continuous training for functional competencies. Jordanian commercial banks should focus on improving employees’ competencies through advanced training programs aimed at increasing their professional knowledge, particularly in information technology and data analysis. This would maximize the bank’s benefits from business intelligence applications.
