Digitalized project management redefined communication and collaboration, where AI played the most crucial role in the transformation. The paper took a mixed-methods design; it combined qualitative and quantitative data collection techniques. A structured questionnaire interviewed 51 project managers and team members in the IT, construction, education, and healthcare sectors in Jordan, using multiple-choice and Likert scale questions to measure the impact of digital tools in project communication and collaboration. Semi-structured interviews with 11 project managers were, however, used to generate qualitative information about their experience with digital transformation at the place of work. Industry reports and government publications show digitalization that has taken place recently in Jordan; this provides additional background information. The study indicates that AI-based tools improve efficiency in communication and coordination of the stakeholders. The adoption success of such tools depends on how much automation balances with human intelligence. Training and development of skills remain an essential requirement for the application of AI-driven project management. It stresses the need to develop a digital culture for the integration of AI with human-centered decision-making. Further research is encouraged into the evolving digital technologies, over and above AI, to grasp their wider effects on project management.

摘要
