That is, intercultural dialogue is an open, mutually respectful exchange between individuals and groups with different ethnic, cultural, religious, and linguistic backgrounds and traditions, grounded in mutual understanding. This dialogue occurs at all levels of society. Each type of human activity can be implemented through dialogues among individuals, families, communities, cultures, nationalities, races, and religions. It encompasses a wide range of lifestyles, thought patterns, customs, value systems, belief systems, aesthetic standards, political ideologies, economic systems, and social spheres. Cross-cultural dialogue must be open and multidimensional, continually confronting new possibilities. Different nationalities require the identification of cultural identity. Cultural diversity is evident in all economies, societies, and political systems. It needs development and adequate management. Cultural diversity poses new social and political challenges. Intercultural dialogue enables people to coexist in a multicultural world with a peaceful and constructive mindset.
