Enhanced Home Safety Through Intelligent Monitoring and Alerting

The home, a central space of well-being, must combine security, comfort, and responsiveness to dangers. This project proposes an innovative home automation solution combining a smart security system and optimized energy management, based on Arduino architecture and an Android application. The system detects risks such as fires in real time using flame sensors or gas leaks, while analyzing the occupants’ emotional state via facial recognition. It generates targeted alerts of various types to occupants, firefighters, and medical services. In addition, it optimizes energy consumption through personalized user monitoring and automated access control. The initial preliminary results obtained are very encouraging.
